Triathlon Scoring

Coursing/Racing

The Triathlon Score for running in the ASFA trial is the total score divided by four (4) when there are two judges or the total score is divided by two (2) when there is one judge.

The Triathlon Score for running in the AKC trial is the total score divided by two (2) when there are two judges or equal to the total score when there is one judge.

The Triathlon Score for the LGRA race is 50 plus 1 point for each dog defeated (maximum score 75), provided the Ibizan Hound competes in three races in good standing with no fouls, no off course, not dismissed and not disqualified.

If the Ibizan Hound competes in more than one coursing/racing event, the highest score will be used for the Triathlon in the Coursing/Racing category.

Running in the singles stake does not count.

Obedience/Rally

The Triathlon Score for the Obedience Novice, Open, Utility and Veteran classes is one-half (½) of the points earned. (A total qualifying score from the judge is not required.)

The Triathlon Score for the Obedience Beginner-Novice class is one-half (½) of the points earned times 90%. (A total qualifying score from the judge is not required.)

For the Rally-Novice class, the Triathlon Score is 80% of the points earned. For the Rally-Intermediate class, the Triathlon Score is 90% of the points earned. For the Rally Advanced, Rally Excellent and Rally Masters classes, the Triathlon Score is the points earned. (A qualifying score from the judge is required.)

If the Ibizan Hound competes in more than one obedience and/or rally class, the highest score will be used for the Triathlon in the Obedience/Rally category.

Conformation

Triathlon Score – Determined by the judge’s evaluation of the Ibizan Hound in the Triathlon class and is recorded on the Conformation Score Sheet.

 THE FINAL TRIATHLON SCORE for the Ibizan Hound will be his highest score in the Coursing/Racing category plus his highest score in the Obedience/Rally category plus his Conformation score.
